Distinctives
The church has been changing as a powerful thrust of Apostolic Reformation has impacted the body of Christ across the earth. There is a need for an enhanced Prophetic dimension to service the demands of heaven and produce within the Church powerful movement towards completion of divine purpose. As this fresh understanding of the Prophetic dimension unfolds in the 21st century, SWM can be identified by several distinctive characteristics, including:
- An increasingly Kingdom based understanding that produces prophets who are effective builders and reformers within churches and within the wider systems of the earth.
- Willingness to offer to God former paradigms and operational patterns of prophetic ministry, producing strong movement away from crippling deficiencies which mitigated against the Finish.
- Identification and embracing of new relational proximity to apostolic grace.
- Liberation from sociological blindness, and a departure from ethnic, national and cultural influences as corrupting influences of objectivity.
- Commitment to embrace migration as an ongoing position, and a refusal to fix positions upon a discharge of grace released at a point in time.
- Deep levels of partnership of the prophets with apostolic and pastoral leaders, producing a strategic building thrust.
- Heightened awareness and sensitivity to the dynamics of His voice with corresponding elevation of reflexive obedience.
