Bridging the Gap

Bridging the Gap (BTG) is an apostolic network birthed by David Copp in 2007; David has been ministering in Japan since the 1960s. BTG points to the existence of a spiritual bridge across which pastors, leaders, and churches in Japan can move from former spiritual positions in God and past movements into the Apostolic Reformation present speaking of God. David says about the founding of BTG: “As I sat in a restaurant overlooking the area just south of Okayama, in an area filled with islands, the Lord spoke to me about the need for a bridge to be built that could span the gap between the present of the Church in Japan and current speaking of God in the earth to allow Japanese and Asians to cross into Apostolic Reformation. For over 40 years we have labored in Japan teaching, equipping and building relationships, but now it seemed that the time was to build a specific structure, a portal or means by which those in Japan could enter into what God was doing in the earth.

Japan is a strategic nation within the purpose of God for Asia and as BTG matures in Japan we believe that BTG will also become a bridge for other nations in Asia to come into the present reformation move of God.
